The European Union has decided to ban Single-Use plastic items to reduce the garbage patch of plastic formed in the oceans. This new rule will help reduce the carbon-emission by 3.4 million tons and prevent damage to environment that would cost the equivalent of £19.2 billion by 2023. If this step is not embarked upon, it can pose a huge threat to our environment.
